Gynecomastia

The excessive growth of the men mammary tissue has multiple causes among which we can refer to teenage hormonal instabilities, obesity, certain types of tumors, drug consumption, etc. Because of this, before running any procedures we have to determine the cause of the gynecomastia and act consequently.

In the vast majority of the cases, the hormonal origin of the gynecomastia can be resolved spontaneously after overtaking the puberty, lose weight or stop using drugs. In that moment is where we can decide if you need any surgical procedure.

Across the use of different types of liposuctions, the resection of the mammary tissue or the combination of both techniques we will get to establish the lost thoracic body contour of a man; and like that solve the cause of psychological, social and adaptive problems that this situation implies.

We will analyze and treat the entire thorax and in some cases even the abdomen, you will then achieve a harmonious and beautiful result.

Characteristics of the procedure:

Duration of the procedure 1 – 2 hours
Anesthesia Local + sedation or general
Hospitalization Outpatient surgery (non hospitalized)
Return to work life After 7 to 10 days
Results Immediate, and progressive improvement until the second month.
